Art Deco French Ribbonwork Boudoir Box with Rococo Ribbon TrimFound in Paris by me about 45 years ago (yep, I'm an old lady), may I offer this early 1900s to 1920s French Art Deco Boudoir Box. In pretty much pristine condition and from a non smoking non pet home, this stunning octagonal lidded box starts with a cardboard base which is covered in a pinky mauve fabric. The cloth is covered in gold lace and edged with a wide cord trim. The top of the box is further embellished with rococo ribbon garland and a pair

here's a vintage floral applique/floral embellishment/ribbon flower that would have been applied to any manner of items

The back of the fame has its original "squiggle" wire insert that holds the glass and image in place
