Maple Charcuterie Board #1This unique charcuterie board is made from Ontario maple. I have done my best to match the colour of the wood in the photographs, but it is hard to duplicate online the delicate graining and warm colours in the wood. The grain pattern includes some "quilting" where subtle waves cross the wood and ripple as your angle of view changes. The grain pattern of this quarter sawn piece also includes some ray flecks that you can see in the enlarged photograph.

A centre hole is drilled to accept the 2 3/4 inch clock movement with Arabic numbering

This substantial board is 23 inches long

Finished in a food-safe tung oil

This elegant bowl is made up of several reclaimed wine barrel staves formed into a graceful upturned bowl on a stand

The charcuterie board is finished in multiple coats of food-safe tung oil

The finish is a durable glossy tung oil

and 1 1/2 inches thick

causing the wood grain to twist and swirl

Pear is a somewhat soft wood
