2021 Barolo, Cerretta, Giacomo Conterno, Piedmont, ItalyGiacomo Conterno always produces Barolos of top quality, and the Cerretta is one of their most approachable. Despite plenty of structured tannins and acidity, the soft florals, juicy fruit and creamy finish make it immensely pleasurable to enjoy now. Just make sure to decant it before drinking, to ensure the flavors fully open up.

although this is more opaque and standoffish
