100% Wool Botanically DyedThese lovely wools have been dyed using natural materials specifically madder root, goldenrod, and walnut. A few years back, we spent one full autumn season collecting and preparing dyes from Walnuts and Goldenrod in our local area. That same winter, we spent time using some of those extracts, as well as dye from purchased Madder roots to give color to some of our medium weight and fingering weight 100% wool yarns. These dyes are much more variable
