2018 Beaune, Epenottes, 1er Cru, Dominique Lafon, BurgundyLow on the slope and bordering Pommard, this can be quite a durable wine. The vines were planted in 1985. The wine is full of strawberry fruit, but with a spicy edge; well judged and nicely structured. Drink 2023 2030.
