1950s Tea Timer Hostess Tunic & Pants Set - Peggy Wood Designs HonoluluThis is a stunning red and gold 1950s tea timer set from Peggy Wood Designs Honolulu. Peggy Wood Designs was one of many labels creating clothing for the Hawaiian tourist market in the '50s. It is quite rare to find a matching set these days it's usually just the dress tunic with no matching capris. This set is in very good condition for its age! There are a few worn spots around the collar and the top of the shoulders, I presume from purse carrying,

she is still exceedingly worthy of love and affection

The person I bought this from said it was a gift from his grandfather to his grandmother but since it wasn't really her style she never wore it so it simply sat in her jewelry box all these decades

but they're not noticeable if you're not looking for them and both garments extremely wearable (see bad Instagram screenshot of me blinking at a party)
