The Skunk, Lafayette 1956This cheerful little skunk, whistling as he goes about his daily business, was on the front cover of the menu of The Skunk Diner in Lafayette, Louisiana, in 1956. Not only was he on the front cover but there was also a drink named for him the Special Skunk Drink which cost 30c. Theres no indication of what the drink was made of or what it tasted like. Obviously, it was a joke it was probably delicious. The Skunk was a drive in burger joint popular
