A 19thC Ecclesiastical Sculpted Stoneware Cherub Corbel Bracket c.1870Origin: English Period: Mid Victorian Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1870 Height: 12 Width: 11. 5 Depth: 8 (all at extremities) The life sized unglazed stoneware corbel bracket being finely sculpted with a plinth top over an angelic cherubs head, the whole being in the manner of George Tinworth (1843 1913), and surviving from Victorian England and an ecclesiastical setting. The marble is in super condition and the base has weathering to it giving a nice aged feel with some verdigris showing and it has not been over-painted

these encrustations essentially preserve the treasures

and we cannot find any record of others having been sold in recent times

The original table manufacture was by hand and created of oak or walnut

having a cabochon ring to the index finger and on a circular base

since the nineteenth century

though the rest are indecipherable at this present time
