Plumbing World


After 55 years in the industry, Plumbing World is all about delivering the inspiration and guidance you need to create spaces that are functional, beautiful to look at and feel truly special to be in. That’s because they’re owned by real Kiwi plumbers — people who’ve spent their careers turning big bathroom dreams into reality.

We are proud to have supported the Plumbing World group with it’s printing for more than a decade now.

As well as all the usual core stationery items you would expect of a large national network corporate such as Plumbing World, we are proud to help with the printing of the group’s high-end product catalogues. These wonderful booklets are not only used by consumers for project inspiration, but also by their Trade customers – who keep a stack in their work vehicles, to have on hand for meetings with new clients.

Other consumer and trade promotional materials are produced centrally in bulk, and distributed out to the branches in time for campaign launch – such as promo posters, flyers, POS items and entry forms.

When Plumbing World recently moved into it’s new Head Office premises in Palmerston North, PCL Group was ready to help ensure the brand was reflected well across the key areas of the new workspace. This included large visual expressions of the company values on feature walls, branded department boards for teams to use in the day-to-day, and framed poster-sized displays of the covers of their range catalogues.

There is also a wonderful ‘history wall’ in a key meeting space which talks to the rich history of the Plumbing World brand and it’s founders. PCL Group helped to bring this wall to life with bold stunning copper-effect statements that gave a real pop of colour against the historic black & white photos.

The same copper effect pop was carried through the space where possible and this even included stunning copper his & hers signage for rest rooms.

E-Smart efficiencies

Adopting E-Smart has allowed Plumbing World to dramatically reduce the level of printed materials at Head Office, which was important as its new premises has less space than before. 

Now the Plumbing World branches are empowered to jump online and order their own stationery and branded items as required, and this means Head Office does not need to be involved in the day-to-day management of these items. They do, however, still enjoy access to rich reporting to understand the group’s overall and individual printing activity, and what stocks are currently in the network.
